The daily activities of many women often go interrupted due to common pelvic support problems that cause the condition, known as urinary incontinence. Many times a woman cannot laugh or sneeze without the loss of urine. Over 85 percent of women are affected by this condition that is triggered before their 35th birthday due to childbirth, and early stages of menopause. Although urinary incontinence is curable or improvable, only one third of sufferers are aware of treatment options other than absorbent pads, drugs or surgery. The introduction of minimally invasive surgical procedures and behavioral therapy empowered women to take control in seeking help for a cure instead of combating incontinence with diapers and absorbent products.
